Ingredients:
Cauliflower: 1 (cut in medium size)
Eggs: 2
Ginger paste or powder: Half a teaspoon
Ground black pepper: Half a teaspoon
Curry powder: Half a teaspoon
Salt: As per taste
Oil: About half a cup for frying
Preparation: Half an hour to 40 minutes. Serves 3-4 persons.
Step 1: Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for 2 minutes. Strain the water and keep it aside.
Step 2: Break two eggs in a separate bowl and add the above-mentioned spices one by one. Mix it well with a fork or whisk it.
Step 3: Heat a kadhai, preferably with a round bottom that will be perfect for deep frying and add oil. Once the oil is hot enough lower the flame. Dip the cauliflower florets into the beaten egg and put it in the kadhai. Fry until it turns golden brown, turn it occasionally to fry all sides properly.
Once done strain the oil and take it out on a plate. Use a tissue paper to absorb the excess oil from it. Serve hot as a starter or a side dish along with some sauce or chutney of your choice.
